2026 UCI Road World Championships in Montreal Officially Concludes

The 2026 UCI Road World Championships in Montreal has officially come to an end after nine days of racing across 13 categories. The competition featured the mixed team relay, individual time trials, and road races, crowning new world champions who will proudly wear the rainbow jerseys next year.

This marks the third time the marquee cycling event has been held in Canada, following previous editions in Montreal in 1974 and Hamilton in 2003. The entire tournament went off without a hitch across all scheduled events.

The races largely took place around the demanding Mont-Royal city circuits, while also venturing out to the Formula 1 venue at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, visiting Old Montreal, and crossing over the St. Lawrence River. Meanwhile, the elite road races began in Brossard.
