Brad Keselowski and RFK Racing to Split After 2026 Season

RFK Racing and Brad Keselowski will part ways at the end of the 2026 NASCAR Cup season. Keselowski, who joined RFK as a driver and part-owner in 2022 after spending most of his career with Team Penske, is also expected to give up his ownership stake. RFK Racing stated that both parties intend to work through the next steps regarding his ownership interest, while supporting his desire to explore career opportunities elsewhere.

Following the split, RFK Racing will continue operating under the ownership of Roush Enterprises and Fenway Sports Group, led by primary owners Jack Roush and John Henry. The organization announced an immediate search for a new head of competition to replace Keselowski. RFK is also pursuing a third charter and plans to run the No. 60 entry as an open entry if necessary, while plans for the No. 6 car for 2026 remain unconfirmed.

In a separate statement, the 42-year-old Keselowski clarified that the announcement is not a retirement and that he intends to keep racing. He expressed pride in the team's accomplishments over the past five years and thanked his colleagues at Roush Enterprises and Fenway Sports Group, noting he still has goals to achieve in the sport.

Keselowski is among the most senior active drivers in NASCAR, having recorded over 600 Cup starts since 2008. His career includes 36 Cup victories—highlighted by wins in the Brickyard 400, Southern 500, and Coca-Cola 600—as well as the 2010 NASCAR O'Reilly Series championship and 76 total wins across NASCAR's three national divisions.
