Steffi Häberlin Wins Tour de Gatineau Breakaway Sprint

Swiss Champion Steffi Häberlin secured victory at the Tour de Gatineau on Thursday, winning from a breakaway sprint.

Despite facing Liv AlUla Jayco, who placed three riders in the breakaway group, Häberlin outmaneuvered her rivals and beat Georgia Baker at the finish line. Ava Holmgren representing Canada U23 finished third on the day.

The result marks the first international race win of Häberlin's career, following her previous national championship title. She expressed her gratitude to the federation and her teammates for providing her with the opportunity to race.
