Season over for Pauline Ferrand-Prévot

Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will not compete in any more races in 2026, her team Visma-Lease a Bike confirmed on Friday. This announcement marks an early end to the season for the French rider.

The decision follows a challenging period for Ferrand-Prévot during her title defense at the Tour de France Femmes last month. She struggled to keep up with the pace and was feeling under the weather during the event.

Due to her poor physical condition and lack of form, the Frenchwoman was forced to withdraw and left the prestigious race with two stages remaining.
