Oyster Estate debuts in Greenport

Blue Flag Capital, in partnership with in-house management company Collared Martin Hospitality, has announced the opening of Oyster Estate, a reimagined 34-key boutique hotel in the heart of Greenport Village. A thoughtful transformation of the former Greenporter Hotel, the property retains the existing structure while completely refining guestrooms, bathrooms, public spaces, and food and beverage offerings.

Designed by Blue Flag in collaboration with Islyn Studio, Oyster Estate draws inspiration from historic bay houses along the Long Island coast and the surrounding landscape. The interiors feature a material-driven approach with wood, a shoreline-inspired colour palette, clay tones, and local elements integrated into the design.

The hotel's common spaces unfold as residential-style rooms, with the redesigned courtyard and outdoor pool serving as the social heart. Opening later in September, Fortune Favors is the signature cocktail bar, listening room, and culinary destination, serving Asian-inspired dishes alongside a dynamic cocktail program and a dedicated listening room.

Oyster Estate marks Blue Flag Capital and Collared Martin Hospitality’s third hotel opening on Long Island’s East End in 2026. This launch follows earlier openings this season including Hotel Corduroy in Montauk, Faraway Sag Harbor, and Faraway Jackson Hole in Wyoming.
