Olympic Track Cycling Champion Katy Marchant Retires

British track sprinter Katy Marchant has announced her retirement after a long and distinguished career racing for Team GB.

The 33-year-old leaves the sport following a 13-year career, during which she earned a host of titles.

She steps away as the reigning Olympic champion in the Team Sprint, a title she won in Paris alongside teammates Emma Finucane and Sophie Capewell.
