Mischa Bredewold Out of Road World Championships Following Crash

Dutch rider Mischa Bredewold has expressed her disappointment after being forced to miss the Road World Championships due to injuries sustained at the Faun Tour Femmes last week.

Bredewold was competing in the four-day race held in the Ardèche region of France when she suffered a crash during the opening stage.

Despite the fall, she managed to remount her bike and complete the stage, finishing 10 minutes behind the winner. However, a subsequent hospital visit revealed that she had suffered a minor pelvic fracture alongside an elbow injury.
