Mikel Landa Wins Vuelta a España Stage 20 as Enric Mas Retains Red Jersey

Mikel Landa of Soudal Quick-Step claimed victory on stage 20, the queen stage of this year's Vuelta a España. Landa crossed the finish line first with a time of 4:58:01, finishing 47 seconds ahead of runner-up Tobias Johannessen and 1:27 ahead of Ramses Debruyne.

In the general classification battle, Movistar's Enric Mas successfully defended his red jersey as overall race leader despite repeated attacks from rivals including Richard Carapaz, Félix Gall, and Primož Roglič. Following the stage, Mas maintains a 2-minute 15-second lead over Roglič and a 2-minute 44-second advantage over Gall.

American rider Sepp Kuss made a significant move on the day, rising from 11th to 5th place in the general classification following a strong breakaway effort. Meanwhile, a crash forced Matthew Riccitello to abandon the race, depriving Decathlon of a key climbing domestique during the stage.
