Hope Wilson and Charlie Girl Qualify for Mars Badminton 2027

Hope Wilson and her 14hh horse Charlie Girl, also known as Poppy, have secured qualification for Mars Badminton 2027. The pair achieved the milestone after finishing third in the Forgandenny BE90 regional final held in August.

The qualification represents the crowning achievement of their six years together. Over the course of their partnership, they have competed up to elementary level dressage and secured a title at the national side-saddle championships.

Their journey together also featured an unexpected event early on, when Poppy gave birth to an unplanned foal just a few months after they first began their journey.
