Gemma Stevens Follows Burghley Victory with Two Wins at Hickstead

In the week following her victory at the Defender Burghley Horse Trials, Gemma Stevens led two more laps of honour at Hickstead. Notably, one of these victories was achieved with a horse she had jumped for the first time just days prior.

Among her achievements, Stevens partnered with the nine-year-old horse Coolnorran Cooley to win the Stoner Jewellers 1.20m championship. The competition took place on the final weekend of the All England September tour.

Competing from fourth position in an eight-strong jump-off, Stevens made the most of the horse's large stride and agility. She secured the championship title by a margin of almost two seconds.
