Felix Gall Accurately Predicts Final Vuelta a España Podium

Six days before the Vuelta a España finished, cyclist Felix Gall accurately predicted the final top three positions on the general classification podium.

Spanish newspaper MARCA had asked the Austrian rider to draw a final general classification podium on a piece of paper and write down who would occupy each position. Gall's prediction turned out to be spot on, placing Enric Mas in first, Primož Roglič in second, and himself in third.

The Austrian's confidence that he could hold third was considered ambitious, given that Richard Carapaz, running fourth, was making hugely unpredictable attacks that at times seemed close to blowing the entire race apart.
