Farewell to successful eventing horse Dreamaway II, aged 15

Dreamaway II, a horse that brought an enormous amount of joy to many people, has died at the age of 15 due to colic. The horse was owned by Barbara and Ken Cooper.

During his competitive career, Dreamaway II achieved significant success up to the four-star level under rider Tom McEwen. Among his notable achievements was winning the British intermediate championship in 2019.

Shortly after that victory, the horse also secured a second-place finish in the eight- and nine-year-olds' class at Blenheim a few weeks later. Following his passing, his owner shared his story as a way to thank his owners, offer hope to others, and remind everyone to cherish every moment.
