Australia Announces Squad for UCI Road World Championships in Montreal

Aus Cycling has announced Australia’s lineup for the upcoming UCI Road World Championships in Montreal, Canada, featuring several experienced riders in pursuit of the rainbow jersey.

In the women’s team, Sarah Gigante of AG Insurance-Soudal is the standout name on a climber’s course that plays to her strengths. She recently returned to competition after spending more than a year away from the peloton.

However, Australia has currently filled only four of its six available quota spots for the women’s elite road race.
