Skadden Joins Advanced Access Program for Legal AI Tool Relativity claiR

Legal data intelligence company Relativity has announced that global law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP will join the Advanced Access program for Relativity claiR. Designed specifically for lawyers, this new conversational AI experience allows participants to evaluate and provide feedback ahead of its planned general availability in early 2027.

Commenting on the partnership, Chris Brown, President of Relativity, noted that Skadden's experience applying AI will help refine claiR against demanding legal matters. Boris Bershteyn, Litigation Partner at Skadden, highlighted that testing innovative technology helps streamline business efficiency and keeps attorneys focused on providing strategic guidance to clients.

Relativity claiR is built directly on customer matter data stored within RelativityOne, enabling lawyers to interact in plain language across millions of documents and metadata. Unlike traditional legal AI tools that require transferring data to a separate environment, claiR analyzes information where it resides, maintaining permissions, security, and data defensibility intact.

The tool is designed to support decision-making in litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters. Relativity plans to share additional updates at RelFest Chicago, scheduled to take place from September 29 to October 1.
