Marc Marquez Claims Misano MotoGP Sprint Victory

Marc Marquez claimed a dominant MotoGP sprint victory in Misano after leading from the first corner to the chequered flag. The Ducati rider made a decisive move at turn one to overtake polesitter Marco Bezzecchi and maintained complete control of the race throughout.

Although Bezzecchi kept the pressure on with a gap under one second, Marquez set the fastest lap of the race to extend his advantage and secure the win. Bezzecchi settled for second place, while Jorge Martin completed the podium in third after passing Fabio Di Giannantonio on Lap 7.

Further down the field, a battle for fifth place between Pedro Acosta and Fermin Aldeguer resulted in errors from both riders, allowing Alex Marquez to sweep past into fifth. Di Giannantonio finished fourth, with Acosta sixth, Raul Fernandez seventh, Aldeguer eighth, and Luca Marini taking the final point in ninth.

Johann Zarco rounded out the top 10, while Francesco Bagnaia struggled to a 13th-place finish. Fabio Quartararo finished 21st after crashing following contact with Diogo Moreira on Lap 2.
