Lukas Halusa and Andre Lotterer Win RAC TT Celebration at Goodwood Revival

At the 28th Goodwood Revival, Lukas Halusa and Andre Lotterer secured a narrow one-second victory in the flagship RAC TT Celebration race. Driving the family's ex-Peter Lumsden/Peter Sargent Jaguar E-type lightweight low-drag coupe, three-time Le Mans winner Lotterer overcame a three-second time penalty incurred for Halusa's slightly out-of-position start to beat Andrew Jordan in a Shelby Cobra. The Lister-Jaguar coupe driven by owner Fred Wakeman and seven-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson finished in third place.

The historic motorsport event featured notable victories across various showcase races. In the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy, Alexander van der Lof and Yelmer Buurman claimed victory in a Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta 'SWB'. The St Mary’s Trophy aggregate victory went to Romain Dumas and Fred Shepherd in a Ford Galaxie 500. Meanwhile, James Davison drove a McLaren-Chevrolet M1B to win the Whitsun Trophy, setting the fastest lap of the entire weekend at 1m18.749s.

Other category winners included Chris Ward, who took top honors in the Freddie March Memorial Trophy in a Jaguar C-type, and the duo of Bonamy Grimes and Johnny Mowlem in the Sussex Trophy with a Lotus-Climax 15. Mark Gillies won the Goodwood Trophy driving an ERA R3A, while Will Nuthall was awarded the Richmond & Gordon Trophies victory following the disqualification of invited entrant Tom Waterfield. In the Glover Trophy, Joe Colasacco piloted a Ferrari 1512 to first place and was named the Rolex Driver of the Event.
