Jamie Chadwick Highlights Progress in Genesis Magma Racing Trajectory Programme

Racing driver Jamie Chadwick is competing in her second season in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) in LMP2 machinery. Speaking to Motorsport Week at Silverstone, Chadwick highlighted the benefits of being part of the Genesis Magma Racing Trajectory programme, which operates in collaboration with IDEC Sport as the only Hypercar junior programme in WEC aimed at bringing drivers into the GMR-001 seat.

Launched in the 2025 season ahead of Genesis's Hypercar debut, the programme initially featured Chadwick alongside Mathys Jaubert and Dani Juncadella, both of whom subsequently graduated to full-time Hypercar seats. This season, Chadwick shares the Genesis-backed #18 LMP2 car with Laurents Hörr and Valerio Rinicella.

The season for the #18 car has been consistent, finishing fourth in the first three races before securing a third-place podium finish at the 4 Hours of Spa. The crew currently sits third in the overall standings with 52 points and two races remaining. Working closely with the Hypercar arm, Chadwick also got the opportunity to drive the GMR-001 at the Le Mans test day earlier this year, stating that her confidence and comfort in the car continue to grow with every race.
