Ferrari reveals special black race suit for Charles Leclerc at F1 Singapore GP

Ferrari has unveiled a special-edition black race suit for Charles Leclerc, which the 28-year-old Monegasque driver will wear at next month's Singapore Grand Prix. Moving away from the traditional Ferrari red with white accents, Leclerc's bespoke suit is almost entirely black, designed to embody "a night under the Singapore lights." Additionally, the Maranello team revealed a limited-edition cap that will be available for fans to purchase starting 5 October.

The bold new design has drawn various reactions from fans. While some described the outfit as "fire" or noted that "The Dark Leclerc era has arrived," others questioned the reasoning behind choosing black for Singapore or criticized the appearance of the HP logo. Some supporters remarked that the black suit is suitable for a night race due to daytime heat during practice, while another fan suggested Ferrari should focus more on the fundamentals of racing rather than special suits and helmets.

Leclerc currently sits fifth in the drivers' standings with 167 points, placing him 125 points behind championship leader Kimi Antonelli and 24 points behind his Ferrari team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who occupies third place.

The Singapore Grand Prix is scheduled to take place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from 9-11 October. It will be preceded by the Azerbaijan Grand Prix from 24-26 September, followed by the Bahrain Grand Prix held in Malaysia from 2-4 October.
