Crunchbase has officially announced the integration of its private company data into ChatGPT for Financial Services. This tailored ChatGPT experience combines built-in financial data with the reasoning capabilities of GPT-6 Astra, helping investment banking and equity research teams develop research, financial models, and client materials in their firm's specific formats.

This partnership brings Crunchbase’s structured data on private companies, funding, investors, and acquisitions directly into the ChatGPT research environment. Covering more than six million companies with over 1.9 billion data updates applied annually, this integration addresses the lack of structured and current private market information on the open web. Users can now quickly get up to speed on companies before client meetings, identify firms matching specific market criteria, and consistently compare competitor activities.
